AR-15 Course Detail

Learn how to really operate an AR-15 to the fullest

This AR-15 Familiarization course is perfect for the AR-15 owner that wants to learn how to fully operate their AR-15. If you have just purchased your first AR-15 or have owned one for years, you will learn new techniques and be pushed further. 

All instructional classes are taught on a private basis working around your schedule. Group classes will also be available. Call or email the school to schedule your training. 

Learn the skills practiced on the front line by our first responder, law enforcement and military, which has allowed them to safely  to go home to their families.

At the conclusion of this course clients will be able to identify all parts, properly dissemble, reassemble and maintain the AR-15 Rifle.

Under time limits, students will be able to accurately place shots with the AR-15 in the prone, standing, and kneeling firing positions.

Clients will be able to perform clearing procedures, malfunction clearing, immediate action drills, reloading techniques, press checks, magazine exchanges, tactical reloads and emergency reloads. 

Clients will gain an improved understanding of marksmanship fundamentals and zeroing procedures. During this course you will be taught the differences between Minute of Angle and MILRAD.

Course Requirements

AR Style Rifle

Open Sights or Red Dot Style Scope 

250 Rounds of Factory Ammunition in correct caliber

Magazines (minimum of two)

5 Dummy rounds for AR

Tactical sling


Semi Automatic Handgun

50 Rounds of Factory Ammunition in correct caliber

Holster (hip or leg mounted)

Magazines (minimum of two)

Hearing and Eye Protection

Class Times

Classes will begin promptly at 9:00 am in the classroom and continue until 5:00 pm

Lunch will be from 12:00 until 1:00 (not provided)
